Just happened on a pic of a wolverine and was thinking it sounded similar. They are smaller and all, but who knows how much was embellished. Don’t know if they are or ever were in the Alps, but there is the whole theory of an escaped exotic. It has the stripe, short straight? ears, bushy tail, some reddish coloring. 3:18 looks like? a spotted hyena which was the one of the 4 types of hyenas that attacked in that way according to them, so id like to know if that painting was made to describe ‘the monster’, ( and they said it couldn’t been a hyena since it was never described as spotted ) … couse if so theyve made a big miss :p

that is very true. there is a possiblity that it may be a? murderer but who says that a demon of some sort my not go after men and only the vulnerable woman and child?
@wlanus im not saying that the woldog theory is in correct and in reality i belive that the wol dog is more of a? suspect in this than a hyena but i strongly agree that it would be larger n stronger than its pure parents but i still have a small doubt, how can 11 wolf dog kill so many well this brings us to the theory that maybe there were more than 1. btw gratz i strongly support you thoery on the wolfdog!
@wlanus hmm i can see you point a hyena is not? agile enough but many others also belive it was a “hairy” hyena a smaller faster breed of hyena that is well known for many small teeth ,also people then could have mistaken the hyena even further since of the long hair this type of hyena posses ,but i do agree on your theory that it might be a wolfdog cross but i think it might have been too small,
the real suspect may even be a unknown species for all we know!

Castell said he killed the beast at about 30yards whichis a 1 in 20 chance? to hit it with a silver bullet since silver is a weak metal, also as it said in the video that it came from africa maybe it was imported and could be trained and i know that hyenas are very trainable wild animals so did castel import a animal to casue mayhem and then to kill it to become a hero?

I think there’s a chance some victims, the oens on their own, might’ve been killed by locals for revenge, money, robbery, etc but the majority were done by the beast? and there’s a good chance someone was using the beast as a murder weapon
Think about it, it would be a hybrid? between a Wolf, German Shepard, and a Hyenna. A serial killer might use this killing machine as a weapon so as not to have his own DNA attached.
